Mental Fight Club is, in essence, an adventure story. You can read this story here and learn more about our seven Muses by clicking on the icons on the right.
Our Mission is to put on imaginative events for people of all mental experience. All our events seek to connect our inner and our outer world and ourselves to one another, whoever we may be.
Our flagship creative endeavour, The Dragon Café is in its fourth successful year, providing a unique, relaxing café and creative space, open to all every Monday. The Dragon Café is an innovative and creative provider of social support for current, past and on-going mental ill health offering a simple, affordable, healthy menu each week, and a wide range of creative and well-being activities - all of which are free and open to everyone. The Dragon Café is open every Monday from 12 midday to 8.30 pm in the Crypt of St. George the Martyr Church in Borough, SE1. For more information click here.
Stemming from the learning of The Dragon Cafe, our latest creative project is an exploratory platform to enable medical and psychiatric professionals of all levels to better understand and collaborate with people who have lived experience of mental ill-health, and for service-users to in turn better understand medical professionals. The aim of RE:CREATE Psychiatry is to inspire new thinking about how mental health services can be more creative, more healing and more human for all. For more information click here.
