Great Southwark Dragon Quest

There are many references to dragons and their saints hiding away in nooks and crannies, in and around Borough High Street. The Great Southwark Dragon Quest is a guided walk with clues for adults and children.

John Constable of Crossbones & Southwark Mysteries fame, wrote the present clues and leads our healing Dragon Quests with Katie Nicholls through gardens, tunnels, burial grounds and bridges in Old Southwark.

To honour 2012 as the Chinese Year of the Dragon, we were delighted to be joined at the end of this year’s Quest, by two dancing dragons from The Confucius Institute.
Good or bad, ugly or beautiful, dragons it seems are supreme creatures of a global collective imagination. Fostering imaginative exploration of symbols and life experience is something that Mental Fight Club sets out to do, not least in our weekly creative space, open to all, The Dragon Café.
